Denis Portaev brings outstanding academic achievement, a rooster of landmark projects and a wealth of executive experience to the team. During his career, Denis was in charge of such monumental projects as the Dominion Tower – Moscow’s only Zaha Hadid project, the Bridge across the Golden Horn Straight, the Mercury Tower, and tunnels and the key infrastructure projects of the Sochi Winter Olympics. Denis also managed a construction on an entire neighborhood with 17,000,000 square feet of the mixed-use real estate - Kotelniki, in Moscow, Russia. After his move to NYC in 2016, he became the key person behind the DCD Construction’s meteoric growth. Denis holds MS in civil engineering, graduating cum laude, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. He authored a manual on post-tensioned concrete structures design and construction in 2011.
